SpecReady — Refund & Delivery Policy

SpecReady — Refund & Delivery Policy SpecReady is a trade name of Apex Grid Engineering PLLC.

SpecReady creates custom capability statements, Statements of Qualifications (SOQs), pursuit packages, and updates using your firm's documented record. Our work is source-checked and submitted for your factual attestation before final delivery.

This policy applies to our one-time services: Capability Statement ($149), SOQ Package ($349), Pursuit Package ($599), and Update Pass ($99). By purchasing, you agree to the written scope and this refund policy, which is disclosed before payment. Nothing in this policy limits rights that cannot legally be waived.

1. When a refund applies. Refunds remedy SpecReady's failure, not a buyer's change of mind or the value of work already received and used. A refund may apply when: we fail to deliver the services agreed in your written scope; our delivered work contains a material defect that prevents it from meeting the agreed scope and that we cannot reasonably correct; or we miss an expressly promised delivery deadline for reasons within our control and cannot provide an agreed resolution. A material defect means a significant failure against the approved written scope, including a material factual error introduced by SpecReady, an unsupported credential or claim, or omission of a specifically required deliverable. Stylistic preferences, changes in business strategy, dissatisfaction with a pursuit's outcome, and requests outside the agreed scope are not material defects. SpecReady does not guarantee contract awards, agency acceptance, qualification decisions, or procurement outcomes.

2. Work performed is earned. Every package is custom-built. Work begins when we start documented research, source verification, drafting, formatting, or another activity included in your agreed scope. Fees are earned as work is performed, not only when the final file is delivered. If an engagement ends early, we account for documented work completed, including research and drafts not yet delivered, and any remaining unperformed work. Any refund is limited to the amount paid for work that was not performed or for a defective portion that we cannot cure. We will provide a reasonable written explanation of that allocation. We do not retain payment for work that was not performed, and we do not charge an undisclosed cancellation penalty.

3. Cure first. If you believe a delivered package materially fails its agreed scope, email us within 14 calendar days of delivery and identify the specific defect. We will acknowledge your request within 3 business days and review it against the written scope, source ledger, and delivery record. For a verified material defect, we will correct or re-perform the affected work at no additional charge within 10 business days after receiving the information reasonably necessary to make the correction. If the defect is tied to a submission deadline disclosed and accepted in writing before purchase, we will address whether an earlier cure is feasible; we will not represent a correction as timely when the accepted deadline can no longer be met. If we cannot reasonably cure the defect, we will offer an appropriate service credit. If a credit is declined or cannot provide a practical remedy, we will refund the uncured defective portion, subject to the value of conforming work already performed and applicable law. The 14-day reporting period governs our ordinary corrective-work process; it does not remove any rights or remedies that cannot legally be limited.

4. Download, approval, and use. We provide an opportunity for factual review and buyer attestation before final delivery. Your attestation confirms that you have reviewed and approved the factual information presented to you; it does not release SpecReady from responsibility for material errors we introduce or from our agreed verification obligations. Downloading a file alone does not establish that it was used. A package is considered used when you or someone acting on your behalf submits, distributes, publishes, or otherwise relies on its substantive content for a business, registration, qualification, or procurement purpose. Once used, the package is not eligible for a refund based on buyer remorse, changed preferences, pursuit outcomes, or voluntary cancellation. Use does not eliminate remedies for a proven material defect, non-delivery, or other rights protected by applicable law.

5. Delays caused by missing information. Our delivery commitments depend on timely receipt of the documents, factual information, and attestation required in the agreed scope. If required information is missing, we will identify what is needed in writing; the delivery clock pauses when we send that notice and resumes on the next business day after we receive the required information. If the required information remains outstanding for 30 calendar days after our written request, we may close the engagement after sending a final notice and allowing 5 additional business days to respond. Upon closure, we will account for completed work and refund any payment attributable to unperformed work. A buyer-caused delay is not a missed SpecReady delivery commitment.

6. Changes, approvals, and additional revisions. Your purchased package covers the deliverables and revision obligations identified in the written scope. Corrections of verified SpecReady errors within that scope are provided without additional charge during the applicable cure process. New credentials, new projects, revised firm history, changed solicitation requirements, additional pursuits, or changes requested after factual approval may require a separate written scope and fee. We will not begin chargeable additional work without your approval. The $99 Update Pass covers only the update services stated in its written scope; it is not an unlimited revision plan.

7. Payment disputes and chargebacks. Please contact info@specreadyhq.com first if you believe a charge or delivery is incorrect; we will review the concern promptly. If a payment dispute or chargeback is opened, we may pause work related to the disputed payment while the payment provider reviews the matter. We may respond with relevant engagement records, including the accepted scope, checkout policy acknowledgment, payment record, source ledger, revision history, buyer attestation, correspondence, delivery confirmation, and evidence of use where available. We do not assume that a chargeback is fraudulent merely because it was filed. We reserve the right to decline future discretionary service following documented fraud, intentional misuse, or repeated abusive payment disputes, subject to applicable law. Nothing in this policy restricts lawful payment-dispute rights.

8. Repeat refund requests. SpecReady and its operating company may maintain proportionate internal records of refund requests, their reasons, and their resolutions to detect repeated misuse and manage account risk. A legitimate refund request is not, by itself, misconduct. Repeated, documented abuse may result in future discretionary service being declined, consistent with applicable law and our privacy disclosures.

9. How to request a review. Email info@specreadyhq.com with your engagement reference, the affected deliverable, and the specific issue you believe conflicts with the agreed scope. We will acknowledge your request within 3 business days. Approved refunds are returned through the original payment method where supported, generally initiated within 5 business days after the refund decision; the payment provider determines when funds appear. For this policy, business days are Monday through Friday, excluding U.S. federal holidays, using Arizona time.

10. Scope of this policy. This policy covers SpecReady's one-time package services and Update Pass. SpecReady does not currently sell subscriptions. If a recurring service is introduced, its separate terms will be disclosed before purchase; cancellation will stop future recurring billing, and fees for the current billing period and setup work already begun will ordinarily be nonrefundable, except where required by law or where SpecReady fails to deliver the agreed service.

Our standard: We stand behind the work we promise. We correct our mistakes. We refund work we fail to provide. We do not refund custom work simply because it has already served its purpose.

Custom Work & Refund Acknowledgment

I understand that SpecReady produces custom documents from my firm's verified information. Work performed is earned, including documented research, verification, and drafting. Refunds address non-delivery, uncured material defects, or missed written delivery commitments attributable to SpecReady — not buyer remorse or unsuccessful pursuits. Submitted or otherwise used deliverables are not refundable for ordinary cancellation or dissatisfaction, subject to applicable law. I have reviewed and agree to the Refund & Delivery Policy and my package's written scope.
